ABOUT US
Rock n Roll clothing for people who care about more than just looking cool. We care about empowering others, inclusion, and our planet.
Punk Majesty by Alisha Amnesia is punk-inspired designer fashion with the ethos of empowerment and inclusion, and we care about the planet! We fuse punk design elements with high fashion and streetwear and produce ethically and eco-consciously to be as sustainable as possible. The brand is built on passion for music, art and DIY culture, making a statement, and fighting the status quo. This brand is ANTI-Fast Fashion. We make one-of-a-kind custom pieces, and all our streetwear is made on demand when ordered, so we do not carry excess inventory. All our suit jackets, trench coats, and womens vests are upcycled.
When you buy Punk Majesty, you are supporting an Independent Artist and a Small Female-Owned Business. PM is designed for all genders, sizes, races, and sexual orientations. As the child of a gay dad who was her biggest inspiration, Alisha has grown up in the LGBTQ+ community, whose causes are important to her. The ethos of her brand is rooted in empowerment and inclusion. Being an ALLY-- anti-racism, anti-transphobia, and anti-homophobia for the underrepresented are very important to her and the brand.
After a lifetime of customizing her own clothes as a DIY Punk, she founded Punk Majesty when doctors told her she had to stop talking due to vocal problems. She was forced to take almost a year off work, after a decade of working in live music events. Determined to make the most of her time while unable to speak, and determined to stay positive, Punk Majesty was launched.
Punk Majesty has been worn by Jane Wiedlin of The Go Go's, Chris Stein of Blondie, Captain Sensible of The Damned, vocalist Jake Hout of The Dead Boys, and guitarist Neal X of Sigue Sigue Sputnik and Marc Almond's band. Photos are in our Rockstar Gallery.
Sustainability and a circular economy are paramount to every decision we make, as we all have to do our part to combat climate change. Producing only what is sold is one way we ensure not to contribute to global waste.
Our streetwear products are handmade to order and crafted with the highest quality, ethically sourced materials. Our preferred suppliers provide ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX© certified ink and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX© certified material as well as certifications from SGS Printing, and FSC packaging made from 100% recycled materials.
We're known for the cool designs and quality of products we deliver, not the waste we leave behind. Zero inventory and ethically sourced materials eliminate environmental risks associated with excess stock and mass production.
The self-appointed Queen of DIY, Alisha is the designer, art director, photographer, webmaster, does all promotion and social media, e-commerce, shipping, research, sourcing, ordering, accounting, inventory tracking, model scouting, booking, events, photo shoots, styling, event production and more. (In 2020, she even had to be her own model!)
Punk Majesty has done shows in San Francisco, Hollywood, Brooklyn and New York City.

Why are we called Punk Majesty?
Besides the founder Alisha Amnesia being a DIY Punk Artist, all the designs have some punk-inspired details. Our original brand began in 2014 as a custom upcycled art clothing brand, producing one-of-a-kind custom clothing-- hand painted and embellished with studs, spikes, chains, chain mail, safety pins, and kilt pins and painting empowering statements on the clothing.
The brand began as 100% Upcycled, but now also offers some new leather jackets, gloves and ties due to supply availability and demand. The future goal is to work with a recycled leather manufacturer for all Punk Majesty Leather. Making mindful, ethical and eco-conscious decisions for all Punk Majesty clothing will always be a part of the process.
The Streetwear line carries these original punk design elements into casual everyday streetwear, at an accessible price point. The first PM Streetwear collection, "Empowering Graffiti" was inspired by DIY street graffiti art and also inspired by our original collection's suit jackets, ties and vests that have hand-painted empowering statements in the artist's handwriting. We have several other collections that have punk design elements... chains, skulls, safety pins, tartan, and the use of colors inspired by 77 UK Punk design style.
Is PM just for Punks? NO! We are inclusive! If you love the designs, support us! We are punk-inspired, and do not support elitist gate-keeper behavior!
We are also looking for other DIY Punk Graphic Designers to collaborate with in the future, so if you are a graphic designer with punk design sensibilities who would like to collaborate for a future collection, contact us.
